Janice VanAnrooy, MA, LPC; Director of The OmniHouse

With over 39 years of professional counseling experience, Janice has worked in a variety of levels of care to include partial hospitalization, residential and outpatient treatment.

In 1996, she started OmniHealth Services, PC, an outpatient and intensive outpatient program in Colorado Springs. Later in 1999, she expanded the OmniHealth program with OmniHouse, Inc., a transitional home for eating disorder patients. We utilized a variety of treatment modalities to include individual, family and group therapy, massage therapy, nutritional counsel, psychodynamic therapy, EMDR, and Adventure therapy. This innovative residential treatment facility operated until 2004. In 2023, the OmniHouse was relaunched under the current structure.

In 2012, Janice was a member of a team of volunteer professionals at The Eating Disorder Foundation.

Karen Delich, MPT

Karen Delich went to CU in Boulder to earn a BS in Kinesiology and then earned a Master’s in Physical Therapy in Denver at the University Health Science Center.  Since then, Karen has obtained several certifications including Myer’s Briggs, Yoga Therapy, Health and Wellness Coaching, nutrition, stress management, and resilience to create a practice of treating the “whole patient.” Karen was also a health adjunct faculty at the Center for Creative Leadership where she led programs and worked with clients focusing on their health: emotional, nutritional, and physical for over 23 years. Karen worked with Janice Van Anrooy 20 years ago at Omni House; a residential transitional home for clients with disordered eating and specialized in body image, nutrition, and recovery.

Lelia Davis, RN, BSN, MFA

Lelia is a Registered Nurse with twenty-three years of experience in the areas of nutrition, eating disorders, psychiatry, addiction, research, and art therapy. She has a BS Biology Trinity University, BSN (nursing) University of Texas medical branch and an MFA Academy of Art University.

Currently working on MS in clinical mental health counseling from Bellevue University. As a nutrition educator through her nonprofit since 2009, and a nutrition and wellness consultant at the Center for Creative Leadership, she empowers her clients with knowledge and confidence around food and exercise. Lelia’s work is founded in her belief that each one of her clients navigating eating disorders has the ability to recover once they are given the wisdom and skills to nurture their relationship with food and exercise. 

Lelia is an active member of the National Psychiatric Nurses Association, Mental Health and Wellness Committee, and the National Alliance for Mental Illness. She has been a Certified Nutrition Consultant since 2006.

Susan Rissman, BA, LMT

Susan has been a licensed and practicing massage therapist since 1988. She was an original staff member at OmniHouse from 2000-2004.  She has a bachelor of arts degree from Eastern Illinois University. Her massage practice has always centered around deep tissue, therapy and injury rehabilitation. In the last many years, her focus with many of her clients has been whole body health and wellness encouragement.

Informal coaching regarding self-care, nutrition, and keeping the body strong is at the foundation of that work.
Susan has also been a professional vocalist in Colorado Springs since 1988. Music is one of her many forms of creative expression. She is also passionate about cooking, interior design, and dogs.

Amber Sparks, BS

Amber graduated from the University of Central Florida in 2009 with a B.S. in Political Science/Women’s Studies. She was active in the Women’s Studies Department writing for the Gender Gazette, organizing outreach events and volunteering for various women’s organizations.

She was the Pro Bono Program Manager for the Seminole County Legal Aid Society, focusing on providing legal counsel and representation in family and housing law cases to indigent populations, including victims of domestic violence, unhoused families and foster youth. She was and is passionate about bridging services gaps for marginalized populations.

Since moving to Colorado in 2015, Amber has held a variety of roles centered around brand management and marketing. She is currently the Marketing Director for a national backpack brand.

Amber is passionate about intersectionality, mental health, and community. She enjoys doing yoga, hiking, and bad reality TV.
